Where to Start
Three ways to stand with the work of planting churches, whether or not you ever set foot on a field.
Pray
Our missionaries will tell you this is the support they feel most. Download the prayer guide and take a family, a country, or a church plant before the Lord each week.
Give
TBM takes no percentage for administration, so every dollar you designate to a project reaches the field. Find a family or a work and partner with them directly.
Go
Test a sense of call against the reality of the field. Envision offers everything from a short trip to a full apprenticeship in church planting.
Short-Term Missions
Come and See
Envision exists to give first-hand experience of the mission field and to help people discern the Lord's specific leading. Two convictions shape it: every project fits within the work of church planting, not alongside it; and tracks are defined by purpose rather than length. The question is not “how long?” but “what is this for?”

Encourage Mission Trip
To encourage TBM missionaries while gaining brief exposure to a specific ministry context.
Groups of college students, and in future church groups, in traditional short-term opportunities.

Enrich Vision Trip
To personally experience missions, learning firsthand from an experienced missionary.
Those with an interest in missions, including some not currently in Bible college.

Engage Internship
To develop ministry skills by serving in a local church plant while exploring options for the future.
Students in a formal internship under a TBM or trusted partner missionary, often through Frontier School of the Bible.

Entrust Apprenticeship
To be discipled and prepared for a lifetime of church-planting ministry.
Future TBM missionaries and those seeking to partner with TBM for the long term.
The four tracks move along a continuum of purpose — from encouraging those already serving, to experiencing missions, to developing skills, to being discipled for a lifetime of ministry. You might enter at any point and, as God leads, move deeper over time. Alongside them, the annual Envision Workshop casts vision for short-term missions and helps people take a first step.

Deeper courses in the applicant track address calling, foundations of missionary life, the sending church, and raising support.

Build Your Sending Church Relationship
The local church remains central throughout. Your relationship with your sending church is not a formality — it is the foundation of everything that follows.
You do not have to have everything figured out to take a next step. A two-week trip, a season of focused prayer, a careful reading of the doctrinal statement, or a submitted questionnaire are all real but low-commitment ways to keep discerning. The home office welcomes your questions.
