Victor and Maddy are building a network of church plants in small, unreached towns of northern Spain, starting in Fraga through relationship-based discipleship.
Our Ministry
Victor and Maddy's mission is to share the hope and purpose found in Jesus Christ, plant gospel-driven, Bible-believing churches, and disciple eternity-focused believers in northern Spain. Spain's main spiritual challenges are false spirituality and atheism. Many follow religious tradition, but few understand the gospel, and with only about one percent of the country identifying as evangelical Christian, Bible-focused churches are rare even in large cities, while many smaller villages have no gospel witness at all.
Their goal is to start a network of church plants where little or no gospel witness exists, beginning in the small, unreached town of Fraga, a two-hour drive inland from Barcelona. Their strategy centers on building relationships in the community through volunteering, English classes, and local events, then starting Discovery Bible Studies that encourage participants to understand and apply Scripture for themselves. The approach is simple enough that any believer can lead a study, allowing them to disciple those who show leadership ability. As a study grows, it may join with others in the area to form a church once a local leader receives pastoral training, after which the process repeats in surrounding villages.
About Us
Victor was born in Mexico and led to the Lord as a child by his aunt. He moved to Spain with his mother at nine and rejected Christianity through his teen years, until the Holy Spirit and many prayers brought him back. In 2009, visiting his aunt in Mexico, a conversation led him to rededicate his life to the Lord, and God changed his heart toward ministry. He studied pastoral ministries at Pensacola Christian College, where he met Maddy.
Maddy was born and raised in Minnesota with a brother and sister. Her Christian parents attended church regularly, and she first understood the gospel and accepted Christ in Sunday school. She pursued a graphic design degree at Pensacola Christian College, wanting to use her talents for the gospel, and has used those skills in several ministries since.
Victor and Maddy married in 2014. After completing their master's degrees, they moved to Spain and worked with a church plant for two years. They have two sons, Donovan, born in 2016, and Nathan, born in 2018.
