Our Ministry
Steve and Deb fell in love with the Ugandan people in 2007 during the first of many short-term mission trips to Africa. They are grateful for how God has been preparing them for full-time service in Uganda ever since.
After attending a mission conference early in their marriage, they surrendered to serve the Lord wherever He directed. For seventeen years they owned a guest ranch in Colorado, where the mission field came to them through ministering to guests and staff. Through a series of events, and the counsel of Pastor Bruce and Donna Miles, God directed them to Frontier School of the Bible to continue preparing for full-time ministry. Steve earned his degree there while Deb served as registrar, and after graduation Steve became full-time Director of TREK, Frontier's high-school outreach ministry, and has also taught apologetics there for several years.
About Us
Steve was born in Puerto Rico while his father served in the Air Force, and grew up an only child in Berrien Springs, Michigan. He trusted Christ at twenty-seven after a long search for truth, a search that led him to Texas, where he met Deb.
Deb was born in Pasadena, Texas, and grew up in the Houston suburbs, trusting Christ at twelve. Steve and Deb married in 1985 and have three sons, a daughter, three daughters-in-love, and a granddaughter.
