Our Ministry

Lucas and Taylor's mission is to come alongside Delwin and Techy Fowler to help Comunidad Bíblica de Tarapoto (CBT) become a fully self-sustaining church, one that plants further churches and sends out its own missionaries. They plan to help with discipleship and the training of local leaders, aiming to raise a spiritually mature eldership capable of producing homegrown pastors, and to help establish practical and administrative structures such as a church constitution, doctrinal statement, and philosophy of ministry. They will lead the church's young couples ministry and help wherever else is needed.

About Us

Lucas Fowler was born and raised in Tarapoto, Peru. On the morning of his fourth birthday, his older brother Marcos shared the gospel with him, and that same morning Lucas believed in Jesus as his Savior. Growing up as a missionary kid and watching his parents' faithfulness in ministry gave him a lasting passion for missions. After high school he attended Frontier School of the Bible to pursue that call.

Taylor Fowler was born and raised in Simla, Colorado, and trusted Christ at six during a Vacation Bible School run by the youth center Cross Roads. Her interest in missions grew serious after her second year of high school, and she decided to attend Frontier School of the Bible to prepare for full-time missionary work.

Lucas and Taylor met at Frontier and married in 2023. Their daughter, María, was born in July 2025. They currently live in Simla, Colorado, raising prayer and financial support while preparing to leave for the field.
