Gregg and Sherrie Brown

Gregg and Sherrie Brown have carried a passion for missions for many years. Early in their marriage Sherrie asked Gregg about going to the mission field; Gregg, having just graduated from college, was eager to pursue a career instead. Sherrie prayed and waited, and once their youngest child graduated high school she pursued seminary, earning master's degrees in both Christian education and theology. After years of church work, and as Gregg retired from his career, they again sought mission opportunities. Their church had a thirty-year history of supporting the Bible Presbyterian Church of Uganda, and a 2022 mission trip there launched their vision to serve in the country. Since then they have taught at Covenant Bible Institute of Theology in Mbale, discipled students, led marriage and women's conferences, and spent much time in villages teaching pastors who have had no formal training. As they put it, their calling is to disciple young men and women in Uganda and see what the Lord will do for His glory, and they welcome others to join them in prayer, encouragement, and financial support.
