Bruce Hale

Bruce Hale joined the board of Tentmakers Bible Mission after walking alongside the ministry for more than thirteen years. His path to missions was a gradual one. Raised in a church where missionaries were largely absent, Bruce built a well-rooted faith, married, and was raising a family before a growing conviction took hold: a sense that the Lord was calling him to contribute more directly to the building of His Kingdom. That conviction led his family to a church deeply involved in missions, where he began opening his home to visiting missionaries and seeing their work firsthand. In 2013, the Lord opened the door for Bruce and his family to attend Frontier School of the Bible in LaGrange, Wyoming, years he describes as a feast of teaching, fellowship, and relationships. It was there that he came to know TBM directors Ron Thompson and Chuck Mathias, along with many TBM missionaries and their families.

Today Bruce brings a strong personal connection to the mission, its missionaries, and the work of church planting. Already close with well over half of TBM's missionaries, his goal is to deepen those relationships in the years ahead and to serve wherever he can in encouraging and equipping the workers of TBM.
